When is outpatient drug treatment needed? Does an addict have to get outpatient drug treatment in order be free of substance abuse or can it be done on ones own? My father has a substance abuse and I really want to find him a good outpatient drug treatment center to attend. I don't think he can break loose from this on his own even though he says he can. How can I make sure he gets the help he needs?
